Elise Wilson is an emerging theatre-maker having recently graduated the Bachelor of Performing Arts, majoring in Performance Making, at WAAPA. She found her passion for devising in 2014 when she performed and co-devised WA Youth Theatre Company’s FISH OUT OF WATER (DROP DEAD) after which she sat in with WAYTCo’s board as a member of the Youth Advisory Panel for the next year. Since then, Elise has been involved in shows at FRINGE WORLD including COME ON DOWN (Noodle Palace, 2017) and THE IMPROVEMENT MOVEMENT as part of 600 SECONDS (Summer Nights at The Blue Room Theatre, 2017), as well as THE COCKBURN INCIDENT (Centre for Stories, 2018) which was awarded the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Tour Ready Award and had an encore season as part of the Youth Week WA KickstART Festival. In the past year, Elise has performed in HIVE MIND (Rorschach Beast and The Blue Room Theatre), joined the team of The Big Hoo Haa, performed and co-devised COOKIES & CREAM as part of TILT. In 2019, Elise is writing FLOOR THIRTEEN and appearing in THE WOLVES at The Blue Room Theatre.
